In conjunction with the Nike Women’s Victory Tour, the Nike North American Training Club created a series of training events in key cities around the world. For this event I was asked to help create the visual center, or event identity toolkit, as well as a selection of assets to aid in creating local event collateral. This included city-specific logos, lockups, and illustrations.
Because localization was key for this event, the toolkit had to be able to clearly communicate how to create on-brand assets for the event to regional partners. This included communicating on-brand copy, usage of key assets, and creation of local assets. Tapping into previous experiences in creating guidelines for Xbox, I crafted an event toolkit that allowed flexibility while providing just enough guardrails to keep creative in line with the brand identity. The result was a highly successful event that spanned 20 cities.
