A personal project to create an automotive themed beer aimed at gearheads. The concept behind this prototype logo and packaging system was to design a beer brand that catered to classic car lovers. To this end I tried to keep a very minimal clean approach that incorporated some of the visual language of factory service manuals. The logo was a simple type treatment with a rectangular lockup, and the cans themselves were a pull tab design that was chosen to give a retro-industrial feel, as well as to resemble cans used for engine additives.
